Excellent news that the Beeb will be showing the game live. 


I can only align myself to Kevin Keegan's rant about Newcastle beating Man Utd many moons ago. I would love it, really love it if we beat them. 

Really looking forward to it. Game will be a genuine test. If we’ve got our recruitment right then they are bottom end Super League standard as are Bulls. If I recollect correctly Bulls are a big old side but this iteration of the Broncos is too, so it could get tasty. Also looking forward to Oldham game. The talk is they are our main competitors so will be a good game.
BTW randomly today it seems pretty easy to log in.

Looking at their squad, they have some good players but not sure they will finish higher than 2nd or 3rd bottom, so a win not out of the question.


Quite a few ex-Broncos boys, Andy Ackers, Ed Chamberlain, Joe Keyes & Guy Armitage in their squad, together with Lee Greenwood as Asst Coach who had a great season with us in 2004/5 with 23 tries from the wing. I suspect Mad Max will get somewhat more than that if his current strike rate continues. If it does, he might get close to Mark Johnson's season record.
