The bloke just has a massive attitude and ego, with the correct contract and management i think he could get back to his best.

It is interesting to note that at the Wigan shareholders meeting the Chairman told those present that we had been warned off making a move for 3 Props who were available by Wayne Bennett, Mason (attitude) O'Melley (bad knees) and Shane Tronc! I find the Tronc one very strange, as he seems to have no fitness issues, nor does at least from the outside seem to have a massive ego/attitude problem.

I think the Tronc thing is that he is rumoured to have struggled to settle when moving away from Queensland... although that was when he was much younger.

Apparently there is no issue with attitude or injury, it was simply stated by Bennett that he was not worth the money he was asking.
