Don't know about you but I get really annoyed at the "don't swear" preaching we get at every game. What a pleasure it was then yesterday when the PA system played all of Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name", complete with the repetition of "F*ck you I won't do what you tell me."

To top it all, the new announcer then actually did the "Rugby League is a family game - don't swear" speech straight afterwards! Highlight of the most frustrating day I've ever had as a London fan.

Incidentally - in case the announcer visits this forum we have Interchanges in our game not Replacements. And learn people's names before the game - Mark O'Melly!!

I hear they plan to use The Super Furry Animals ode to the late QPR and Cadiff City footballer Robin Friday[url=http://www.metrolyrics.com/the-man-dont-give-a--lyrics-super-furry-animals.html"The man don't give a f*&£"[/url at the next home game.

Well maybe this might make someone consider the quite dreadful noise that apparently passes for the music played out over the PA. Whatever it is that is played as the teams are preparing to kick off is especially awful.

Had to laugh at that, no-one cottoned on for the swearing that lasts a while at the end of the song.

The Leeds game a few weeks back was the best for the new anouncer; Danny Bude-erus. Please just someone give the guy a sheet of pronunciations before hand, it is a little embarassing.

In other news, I saw Chris Warren on Fox Sports news the other morning.....looks like he's enjoying "Home Cooking" a tad too much

btw.....who is the new announcer and where did he come from??? there have been times over the last few weeks where his howlers have been downright embarrasing. Is he here for the duration????

not been to a home game since Chris left, but did have a word with John Wells on that day, thought his chat saying goodbye to Chris showed him as a really good public speaker and on the PA, i realise he probaly has bigger fish to fry and he is doing well on sky from what i seen

Having drunken stag parties roaming around is not exactly good for the family image either. On a risk assessment basis we are not far from a PR disaster. But hey ho we need the money.................
