Who else is going to England V France at the LSV tomorrow? Apparently it's Hilly's first game at the LSV since leaving Leigh, goes to show how few international games there are. www.englandrl.co.uk/article/4754 ... perform-at
I think they should make this Paul Barrière Shield an annual fixture, possibly a mid season international. Could play it on the same weekend as the ANZAC, Polynesian and Melanesian tests to have a global international weekend. Have France V England in France to raise the profile of the game over there & give the England team a chance to play. Also could have a Celtic cup with Wales, Scotland & Ireland each year the winner stays on and the team not involved could play one of the other European countries, Italy, Serbia or Spain to get more game time for the smaller nations & raise the profile.
