| Keith Senior.
Very impressive for his first hit out as a starting second row with Leeds. This could be a new lease of life for the machine. He has targetted 600 1st grade games.
I see no reason why he won't achieve that.... minimum.

| It was a very impressive "debut". I wouldn't be surprised to see him continue there especially with the new doubts over Ali's fitness

| Agreed, the worry is the performance of the centres when he is not there - Delanney was shocking and Smith's lack of pace is real concern

Agreed... If anything Delaney should be put in the second row on a more permanent basis. Impressive though it was Senior remains our most potent attacking centre. A lot could be riding on young Watkins' shoulders next season.....maybe he ....and BJB.... could step up and be our starting centres but signing Senior for another year was probably a necessity rather than a reward for past service.

| Seniors a machine, total machine.
He's playing at the top level since some people on here were in nappies, crazy.
He could probably play another 10 years, Wayne godwin told me he can't feel pain anymore.

I agree he played well.
If he was to move to sec-row next season then for mine we need a left centre. As yet we don't know if Watkins is ready for centre week in week out.I'm not convince Smith is the long term answer also.
Priority signing for next season should be a prop to help take the work load off JP but I can't see GH adding two players for next season.
My guess is Senior will only play in the back row when we're short on pack numbers.

I agree. Delaney is like playing a 2nd row at centre his lack of handling skills is a worry

Delaney was awful. Ablett was better for us at 3. The guy can tackle and he does hit the ball up like a prop, but that's not really what you realistically want for a centre.

Have said same elsewhere.
Never thought would countenance seeing Ablett back at centre......but would definitely swap his present second row position with Delaney. Ablett is still not the long term answer of course, but he does give more width, has got better feet and can give a decent pass to his winger. The more I see of Delaney the more I see a second rower.

| Ablett and Smith in the centres next week?
Senior looks better in the forwards, a spell on the bench helps too
Delaney was awful and will be lucky to play next week

Is that we've really come to for our first choice starting centre partnership ??? I hope not.
I agree Senior looked good in second row, but he's still our best strike centre. What's the situation with Watkins ?
