The line running was bang on but then Russell hesitated on his kick which meant they all took an extra step.


I guess that comes with a new player coming in late but Russell needs to sort that out.


Rourke's I was following the ball so couldn't tell. That deserved to be the match winning try. Outstanding play.


Plenty blaming the ref on FB of course but we did enough to win that game, if we execute our last play better. It was inches but unfortunately inches matter.


Really proud of the players. We fought hard and not only competed but looked the better side for much of the game

I'm having the same thing happen. I've come to the last page and read what I thought were not that many posts after my last ones yesterday.  Then I went back to the main Wakefield page and came back and several new posts appeared, then I did it again and a few more appeared. It's starting to make me feel like I'm going around the bend.

PopTart not having a go at Hood ,in fact have come on here and said he as surprised me with how well he as played this season,  but just though it was a wast of three tackles  ,when we should have been moving the ball out wide to run at the defence .Just to rub salt in to the wounds the final pass in Hull second try looks on the highlights

I thought Josh Rourke was pretty good throughout the game... Our ruck speed was far quicker when Smith was on the pitch... We missed MM influence in the middle when he moved to edge forward... I thought that was when Hull started to gain a foot hold in the game... We missed Vangana on the edge... For me Atoni was our best forward on the night... Rodwell looked ok but out of match fitness... Faatili was effective and I was disappointed when he came off as he was bending the Hull defensive line with every carry... We moved the ball wide too early again, offering Hull the chance to take out our wide players... john Stone had his best game of the season... Might have been unlucky, I still can't see where he is on the match footage, replay (maybe I'm just getting old and a bit foggy eyed) ... We were just short in this game, and the reasons we were so was mostly self inflicted... One observation, Pratt got bundled into touch when he should have found the turf, when a similar situation arose in the second half he went straight to ground, good learning and application of learning... We made a couple of silly errors but we also did some really good stuff... Getting over the line 5 times (albeit 3 were disallowed) against a very stubborn and well drilled Hull defence was a real positive.
