Not that I expect Clearly to move to Superleague but say he did, we'd be in such a strange position. We'd be one of only a couple of clubs who could afford it (well the owner could) but how do you fit him in? It's where the Rads comments make complete sense about him not getting in. It's not that he isn't better than what we've got but you don't just say thanks and see you later to players like French and Smith, after all they've done for the club. Both are more than good enough to keep winning us trophies.
Now if Payne Haas could find a girl who plays in the English football league, we'd be talking!
I also agree he won’t come to SL any time soon, however theoretically if he was available he’s in and Smith is out….depending on him being guaranteed to stay for 3 years.
Smith would bag a spot in the NRL and you very rarely get an opportunity to sign the best player in the World in his prime.
