I'm happy with this. We did seem to have a problem at scrum half. With Ratchford too old/ not good enough any more. Leyland still an unknown. Hayes not recovered from injury. Maybe i'm greedy but i still think we need a big prop so mix it with the big boys. I mean, we were bossed by Wakefield pack fairly easily.
The guys on Redvee are querying Wire’s management of the salary cap following Sneyd’s signing. Isn’t it funny how only Wigan and Warrington are put under the microscope.
Probably as good a one man fix as we could get. Watching Williams flitting about as the only creator v. Wakefield (with no Dufty) was pitiful and we were absolutely toothless on attack. Thankfully we have moved quickly. Sneyd is getting on ... but kicking skills don't usually fade away with age. No time to worry about Leyland & Hayes as sometimes you've just got to act & ditch plans.
Meh. Good player and better than what we have but we could have Nathan Clearly at halfback and he wouldn't be half as effective with no pack infront of him. Sneyd can't do much in his own 20m.
Bigger questions need asking like who signed Leyland in the first place given that the head coach has now deemed him not good enough after only 4 games? That money could have been spent on a forward.
