You would not want to play Burnley in the play offs - if they scored game over. Their defence is so strong. Only having one shot on target doesn't help matters either.

Meslier still looks very shaky at times.

I think Muniz is dooable but it's dependant on Fulham bringing a striker in, which looks a long way from happening... if we are to get him i think it needs doing sooner rather than later, also Newcastle will miss out on Sesko and Atalanta who have a lot of ££ to spend are now sniffing... not seen us linked credibly with any other strikers which is concerning.


I think its quite clear too that we didn't really have irons in the fire with other wingers similar to Piaxao...  

Muniz is off to Atalanta. El K is probably waiting for Palace or Spurs.

And Leicester are now saying they want £30 m for El K even though he has a 24.8 m release clause.Talk of us interested in the Iranian forward but isn`t he too old now?
Callum Wilson would have been a better choice between the 2 imo.

The release clause expires in a week, so they maybe pressuring him to wait until after it expires so they can get a bidding war going. 


That Iranian rumour will be BS. 

Hopefully Longstaff may address one of our big problems over the last couple of years and be a threat striking the ball from distance. It’s been an issue for us over the last few years along with being so impotent from corners and free kicks. We are not going to be walking the ball into the net in The Premier League and I’m hoping the recruitment has added a threat in both the above departments. I really don’t see a prolific striker in our two current first choices,  so we are going to have spread the goals throughout the team in whatever way necessary.
