All in all not a bad game, We could have had them if we could just complete our sets and not get silly on the second and third tackle, Greenwoods pass in the second half was crucial for me straight into touch, what a terrible pass, he should have either ran it and took the tackle or bloody look where he passes, We were already building pressure and looking better, had that gone in i feel it would of changed in our favour.

Now another part of today, Do the players and coaches not watch the tapes/dvd's, leigh have been flinging it out to the wings looking for the over lap every game this season, we let 2 identical tries in within five minutes at the right corner, rob seemed a bit of a target today with the kicks and after the first try i think it was who can blame them, he didn't seem to want to even attempt to catch it. White had a bit of a poor game today also running into touch when he could have come inside and took the tackles, it was only early in the tackle counts. Mikali played well IMO as did Holroyd.
A bonus point today aint to be grumbled at, onwards and upwards, we have doubled our points for the season.

If leigh are "the best team in the league" i am not worried.

And we didnt get a bonus point last year in this fixture. Maybe Leighs mid season capitluation may start earlier this year.

Sounds like it's all falling apart in Leigh.

With a 100% record, I can't say I'm particularly worried either.

They were pretty average Leigh, and i wasn't the only one who thought this where I was sitting. Yes they beat us, but we're in terrible form and Widnes aren't exactly flying at the moment.

The main problems today were:

- As usual, no organization and no clue what to do.

- Dominated down the middle, again.

- Players ignoring Jones and Holroyds orders, and moving out of position, constantly.

The game went as I expected really, we looked like we could get near to beating them at two stages of the game, just before half time and straight after when Miles threw that awful pass out, why oh why do we do it?
We did tear them apart at times but for the first 25 minutes never looked like scoring and they did at that point look a much better side than us, but when we got at them they did look beatable.
We had the consolation of scoring the two best tries but our defence yet again let us down especially for their 2nd and an even worse one for their 3rd try, no marker at the play the ball and a huge gap that even I could have scored that one, it was terrible, its defence that wins you games Mr Calland not 100 mph attack, yer its good to watch but you need to keep teams out.
We deserved a bonus point as they got lucky with the ball at times, they are a good solid team but they are beatable.
Leythers will say different but come back in Septyember and we shall see how good you are shall we?
I think Fev will be the team this year.

Leigh were far from average. They are the best in the competition right now. Solid pack and go forward backs. They are THE team to beat this year. We are mid-table at best. Reaching the play-offs is our realistic target and avoiding the drop should be the main strategy right now.

Have to agree that Leigh didn't play particularly well today, and our 100% record doesn't even seem good enough to keep us top of the Championship. Whether leigh's indifferent showing was down to themselves, or 'Fax's efforts will remain to be seen.

Credit for two excellent late tries from 'Fax, that reminded me of previous seasons. I'm sure a change of fortune is just around the corner.

By the way, whilst Aizue is picking up plaudits, he appeared lucky, from firts impressions, not to be picking up something else, for the leading elbow/forearm, that flattened Duffy!

Yer right now but they are playing on confidence, come on the scoreline was pretty even until our heads went down after that bombed try and then stuff came off for them like that flick out of the back door which could have gone anywhere come on. Yer we will not be in the top 3 maybe 4th or 5th this year is my guess as I still have question marks over the way the team are coached, why take Penky off he is not a forward he does not need a rest surely? He did cause them lots of problems, yer he loses his head and throws out silly passes but it becuase he is trying too hard.
