I think we're behind the 8 ball recruitment wise unless the quota goes up further. I'd like us to pick up some more younger players from the championship and also look to sign some younger talent from other SL clubs like the dobbins did with the lad from wakey. With our cash and improved performances we're a decent place for young talent to move to now.
We probably need another 2 decent quality middles if ashworth is going and hopefully watts not getting another deal.
2027 will be a massive year for recruitment with so many quota players OOC and a real chance to up the quality level
That was too be expected after so many arrivals last winter and Pryce mid season. I'd say the recruitment has mostly been good with only Holmes and Watts being duds and Jed is hovering over the dud category if he doesn't get back on the field soon.
On the flip side I was disappointed with the signings of Sezer, Hardaker, Cust and Borough at the time but they have proven me wrong.
We still need to find a Centre and a 2nd row and hopefully some of the youth we have out on loan and 1 or 2 become options for the 1st team next year too.
