I agree Gale is fairly decent but if we sign him it reminds me abit of the Sam Obst signing a few years ago. A financially struggling club open to off loading some of their decent assets fairly close to the season start. Yes Obst served a purpose for us but I wasn't jumping from the roof tops when we signed him.

If the border agencies website is still down it wouldn't surprise me if Rankin isn't here before season starts it really wouldn't hence or interest in Gale. Just seems to be ground hog day to me regarding our recruitment, little strategy and preying on those who have to sell. I'd be happy with 6th place finish next year at this rate. Horne/Gale/Miller/Rankin...mmmmm

Good to see Rankin here this weekend. Still not sure who Radford sees as his half partner. Miller would be my starting preference but I don't think Radders shares that view at the moment.

The HDM article implied that Miller was first choice are partner.

True but Radfords interviews suggest otherwise. I hope Miller & Rankin get a couple of games in the friendlies to develop a partnership but I don't think they'll get a full game never mind 2.

According to James Smailes of the HDM, Talanoa`s visa application is about 10 days behind Rankin`s, so it looks like another fortnight or so before Talanoa is here.
