Shifty :Butcher:
I played with and against Jordan when he was coming through at Skolars. He’s a big strong lad with a quality work ethic, both in training and in games, and he’ll be very coachable. He’s a sound, quiet person who will keep standards high. He’s definitely not a backrower these days, he’s a prop. If I was being harsh I’d say that his ceiling isn’t that high, but he definitely won’t let us down when called on.
Next year we have McMeeken, Caleb, Fa’atili, Rodwell, Storton, Lolesio, Lingard and High in the middle. We’ve seen this year you can quickly lose 4 of them to injury. No complaints from me for getting another solid player in to bulk up the squad.
As for salary cap, I can’t imagine he’ll be taking up much space. Less than the first six players I mentioned above I reckon. He’ll be just about full-time with Fev and Broncos before that. And 28 isn’t that old for a prop.
Isn't that the Aussie Union Fly Half? Did you mean Jazz Tevaga.
Obviously, with 2026 being our 2nd year in SL, we'll have to watch our Salary Cap as players will want improved deals and things like that. You have to sort of back the likes of Millsy and getting this right, but it's just that he's gonna be replacing Atoni, or an option for that position, and as we've seen this year, he could end up playing half the dseason if we have the same injury issues. From what I've seen of him, if we're planning on making our way up that table, there would be a bit of a drop off between the top 4 Props and him, and that's something that's got us through this year when guys have been out. But hey, what do I know, and it's just my opinion. Hopefully, he's someone who can surprise us in this environment.
Tray Lolesio we have signed him you may have missed it the other week he is a middle
