We are in a strong position in one sense with the momentum we are gathering and now would be the time to offer the likes of Amor and the rest whilst confidence is up there is a real sense of camaradary and spirit amongst the players. This was shown when they all came over to the fans yesterday.
If Amor wants to go elesewhere when clearly he gets on with everyone he is enjoying his rugby, he is playing week in week out and is having stand out performances and the club is clearly on the up then I would say thanks for your efforts and wish you luck for the future. I would suggest it would then be financial reasons he would leave and you can not blame him, he has a young family and does not have red white and blue blood running through his veins like us.
As for the new signings and as I say if true how O Meley Kirke and Mason take us forward I do not know but we have to trust in Agars judgement.
It would be a thank you and goodbye to Mathers, he has cost us too many games this season and called me old fashioned but a full back is supposed to be able to tackle and he can not as seen in the lasttwo games alone.
If hull are going to be throwing loads of coin at him he'd be daft not to take it, big pay days are probably fairly rare in what is a short career, so he goes with my thanks.
If he wants to stay on less money (if that's the case) then he rises even higher in my estimation and it bodes well for the team and the future that these guys want to stick it out together because they can see a bright future. Credit to AG and JE and co (and RA of course) for creating that dream.
If he goes back to Leeds, again fair enough.
If Leeds want him back just to palm him off for a fast buck, then shame on them for exploiting what seemed to be a two way gentlemans agreement, but business is business and we've had the pleasure of Kyle for two differing but interesting seasons.
However it falls, thanks to Kyle and good luck and let's give him and all the lads a noisy BV for the last game of the season.
Cheers lads, it's turned out to be a bloody good season, and hopefully well all still be cheating you all on at Salford and Headingley....................
Agar says in the pre match press conference we are looking to bring in 2-3 forwards. Surely some would have to leave or we would have too many good players not getting a game?
