Quote jaybs="jaybs"Interesting piece in The Mirror! who could it be, or have been?
"1) WORD reaches me of an extraordinary signing London Broncos came agonisingly close to pulling off. Apart from his ability on the pitch the NRL star would have been a marketing dream for the club as they prepare for life in their new home at Barnet. Sorry to tease but I'm sworn to silence. The player would have been a huge shot in the arm for Super League publicity too on the back of new sponsor and TV announcements."
Also good to see in the same round up page:
"4) VERY positive reports on Wigan's two signings from London Broncos, Dan Sarginson and Tony Clubb. Warriors director of performance Mark Bitcon said: "We've been impressed. They're both doing well. Dan is naturally one of the fittest here and excels in any running discipline. Tony's made his mark too." Seasoned pie-eater fan reckons Sarginson should be a first choice centre pick this season with Clubb a probable starter on the bench."
Also, Dan Sarginson was Man of the Match last night in the win against Saints at Langtree Park.

The player's agent was that of Kevin Locke, the incumbent New Zealand international fullback.

| I thought I post this here then start a new thread. But on twitter I saw a couple of things. One is Denny Solomona is still waiting for a visa and could be another 10 or so days.
Also I saw that a player called Blake Lazarus is trying to get in contact with (or has been in contact) with the club about a move or even a word. He seems keen (don't they all).
I don't know much about him except I think he know Joe Grima. That he played for West Tigers a couple of times in 2010 but since then I don't know. Also he plays at number 7
I'm not saying he any good or hes signed just adding to the rumours of players connected with anything to do with our club that's all.

Apols, Alanw had seen some twitter info. My comment was more that a B. Lazarus signing for us would be rather appropriate given the biblical story, not that he had or was about to. Wonder if his Uncle Glenn could still play?
